Drug use and criminal activity – erode the quality of life in Weed & Seed neighborhoods. Through special initiatives involving Law Enforcement and Community Policing , Weed & Seed seeks to eliminate drug dealers, drug users and other criminals from our neighborhoods, making them safer places to live and raise a family.

The Strategy
Weed and Seed, a community-based strategy sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), is an innovative, comprehensive multiagency approach to law enforcement, crime prevention, and community revitalization. Community Capacity Development Office (CCDO) oversees the Weed and Seed initiative.
